From childhood, since 1968 at the age of 10 until the 80s, I drew both portraits and nature studies with pencil and charcoal. This is only a fraction of my early works. Unfortunately especially my best drawings got lost during my countless moves. Not only within Germany but also to the USA in the 90s. Some of these well done works, of which I unfortunately don't have any copies, hopefully are still in the possession of friends and collectors of my art.

1980 - On the donkey into the Valley of the Kings. The Colossi of Memnon west of Luxor "Theben". The twin statues depict Amenhotep III (fl. 14th century BC)











DRAWINGS FROM THE 70s

My backpacker travel companion, on the adventurous boat trip on an ancient Nile steamer on the Nasser reservoir from Aswan to Abu Simbel
Qubbet el-Hawa or "Dome of the Wind" is a site on the western bank of the Nile, opposite Aswan, that serves as the resting place of ancient nobles and priests .
